Abby, Live in Concert

News from Mark:

Abby will be performing with the Michael Harding band at the Bremen VFW this Saturday at 7PM. Might be a good chance for any family members to see her close by. She'll be doing at least three songs (with Alex doing backup vocals on one). Ben may be doing a duet with her also. This is the same group who is working with her on her upcoming CD. Tickets are $10 for show and $18 for show and chicken dinner ($15 for kids 12 & under). Call Mark or Carol if you want tickets - also available at the door.

4H Champion Sheep

Klaudia's heavyweight wither Henry( held by Klaudia), division champion at the fair! Izzy is her fourth place ewe (held by Joe).

New Puppies

Lilly had her puppies Sunday, nine in all. Only two boys, seven girls, all are healthy and mama is doing well. If anyone knows someone that is interested.... they will be ready for a good home in September! (Fully registered AKC)

Weekend with the Holidays!

Dylan and Brady just spend the weekend with us. On Friday, Kent took us all to eat at a Chinese restaurant where Brady enjoyed eating crab "testicles" (aka tentacles). On Saturday, we all went to see the new Harry Potter movie which was great. One of my friends was there and asked if Dylan was either Stephen or Nick's girlfriend. On Sunday, Janis, Laura, Holli and Mike came over for an afternoon of swimming. Nick had a basketball game Sunday night and scored 19 points! The best part-Dylan helped the team out and scored 4 points!

4-H Fun

It's fair time again, and this year there were many family representatives entered in the competition, including Brady, Cole, Cassidy, Kelsey, Emma, and Klaudia (they're all in the same group, which is headed by Marlene and Bethany). I can't give you a full report on ribbons earned, though I know there were some, including a great showing by Klaudia's sheep, but I can definitely say that everyone had a great time on Monday night. First, there was a parade (hence, the matching shirts), then we all checked out the exhibit hall, and then it was off to the rides. Good times! (And it's not even over yet -- my boys will be there tomorrow with Loni, and Bethany, Klaudia, Joe, J, Marlene, and Rick have been there pretty much every night -- so come on over to Hamlet if you get the chance!)
