First-ever Minkerfarm Nighttime Sledding Extravaganza

Rick and crew worked hard to put on a really cool nighttime sledding party! They strung Christmas lights along the side of the sled hill, added a guide rope up the path along the side, put old tires around the bases of the trees to act as bumpers (this after an unfortunate incident last year where Max's face met a tree), set up some floodlights, and even busted out the hog roaster for heat and a handy cooking surface. He grilled hot dogs and burgers, while Mom had chili and hot sandwiches, hot chocolate and cookies back at the house. Everyone had a blast, and there's been talk of making it an annual event, so maybe you can all join us next year! I'm posting more pictures over at my blog if you want to check them out.

Great time had by all, young and young at heart...Even in 6 degree weather. With a few tweaks, it will be even better next time! Do what you can to attend!
